CVS App Simplifies Shopping with Curbside Pickup

When my older kids were young, running errands was a challenge. They would either get fussy or fall asleep in the car, which always led to shortened shopping trips. I often wished there was a drive-through at my favorite stores for those instances when I just needed a few items but didn’t want to drag them out of the car or wake them up.

Thanks to the CVS App, I’ve virtually found my “drive-through” solution (or more accurately, a “drive-up”). I can shop from home, pull up to the Curbside Pickup area, and my shopping experience becomes much more efficient. Plus, it helps me avoid those unplanned impulse buys that can derail my budget!

Shopping is straightforward. You can browse by category or simply search for items using the search bar, which makes adding them to your cart easy. Sale prices are auto-applied, and your cart remains saved for quite some time. I’ve used it like a “shopping list,” adding items over several days, and when I was ready, checking out was a breeze.

I must mention that you can apply your ExtraCare Rewards with your in-app purchases. This multifunctional app has truly saved me time, stress, and money!

Once you’ve placed your order, just wait for a text notification that your order is ready. I typically run errands and find that my order is prepared by the time I’m ready to head home. When you arrive at the CVS location, look for the designated “Curbside” parking area or a space near the entrance. There’s no need to leave your car (yes! let the little ones keep sleeping!)—just reply “here” to the text, while keeping the CVS app open, and within moments, your order will be brought right to your vehicle.

The holiday season can pull us in every direction. Sometimes it feels overwhelming to get everything done! However, this app has been a lifesaver, ensuring our family stays stocked with essential HBA items—no more “Mom! We’re out of toilet paper!” moments.
