Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter
Autumn has arrived, and with it comes a strong craving for all things pumpkin!
This delightful and simple recipe is perfect for whipping up in your slow cooker. Enjoy it on toast, biscuits, or anywhere you want a boost of pumpkin flavor.
Ingredients
- 30 oz Pumpkin Puree
- ⅔ cup Apple Juice
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Ginger
- ½ tsp Cloves
- ¼ tsp Allspice
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
- Remove the lid, stir, and continue cooking for an additional 1-2 hours, until the mixture darkens and thickens.
- Turn off the slow cooker and allow to cool.
- Transfer to jars and store in the refrigerator.
