DIY Craft: Family Tree in Scrabble Style
For our 25th wedding anniversary, my eldest daughter gifted us a beautiful family tree wall hanging, and I absolutely adored it! I wanted to share this project with you, hoping to inspire a simple yet meaningful gift for someone special in your life.

You will need:
- Scrabble letters to spell the names/words of your choice
- Two contrasting pieces of scrapbook paper
- Scissors or a craft knife to cut out the heart shape
- Adhesive for attaching the letters
- A shallow shadow box frame
My daughter arranged the Scrabble letters until she found a layout she liked and decided on the placement for the heart.
At this point, you can choose to cut the heart out and place contrasting paper underneath, or create a “floating” heart. For a floating effect, cut a heart shape from another paper, reinforce it with a sturdier material, and use double-sided adhesive pads to give it a floating look.
After that, simply mount it in the shallow shadow box frame, and your cherished keepsake gift will be ready to enjoy for years to come!
