Easter Bunny Butt Cookies

With Easter just around the corner, my kids can’t stop asking for delicious bunny-themed treats!
These delightful sugar cookies are cleverly stacked and arranged to resemble the Easter Bunny from behind.
Ingredients:
- 1-1/3 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until the mixture is smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place them onto ungreased cookie sheets.

- To create the bunny feet, cut one full-sized cookie into four equal pieces, rounding each piece into a circle before baking.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the cookies to sit on the baking sheet for two minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool.

- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, mix together frosting and 1 to 3 drops of pink food coloring until well combined. Microwave uncovered for 10 to 15 seconds, or until soft but not melted.
- Frost one entire cookie slice and two bunny feet with the pink frosting. Attach the feet to the bottom of the main cookie. Place a marshmallow at the center of each cookie for the bunny’s tail, and decorate the feet with candy sprinkles or additional frosting. Repeat with the remaining cookies and feet.
