Green Velvet Cupcakes with Baileys Cream Cheese Frosting
With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, we’re excited to present this delightful recipe that adds a festive twist to a classic green velvet cupcake.

(Makes 12 cupcakes)
Ingredients
Cupcakes:
- 1 1/4 cups Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- Green Food Coloring
Frosting:
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 4 tbsp Butter, softened
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a bowl, beat the egg and whisk in the other wet ingredients until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures and stir until just mixed.
- Add green food coloring until you achieve your desired shade.
- Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack.
- In a bowl, whip together the softened cream cheese, butter, and Baileys until creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until you reach your desired consistency.
- Transfer the frosting to a piping bag and frost the cooled cupcakes.
