Delicious Homemade Orange Creamsicle Freezer Pops

Orange Creamsicle

I’ve always loved orange creamsicles. The combination of refreshing orange flavor with a creamy center is incredibly tempting.

With just four simple ingredients, you can now whip up your own orange creamsicles right at home!

This recipe yields about 3 pops and can be made using a Zoku Quick Pop Maker. These can often be found at local stores like Marshalls or Ross, or you can order one from Amazon. If you prefer, follow the non-Zoku instructions provided below.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Mixing Ingredients

Begin by mixing together the cream, sugar, and vanilla.

Zoku Instructions

Zoku Instructions:

  1. Pour Orange juice into the maker up to the fill line.
  2. Insert the stick into place.
  3. Wait about 3 1/2 minutes.
  4. Use the suction tool to remove any unfrozen juice from the center or carefully pour it out.
  5. Fill the empty section with the cream mixture.
  6. Wait approximately 5 minutes or until the cream is set (frozen).
  7. Use the tool to remove the pop and place it in the freezer.

Non-Zoku Instructions:

  1. Combine the cream, sugar, vanilla, and orange juice in a bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds or small paper cups.
  3. Freeze for 10-15 minutes or until the mixture starts to set.
  4. Insert sticks and return to the freezer for several hours.
  5. Submerge the molds in hot water to help release the pops.
