Oreo Peppermint Bark Recipe
As soon as Thanksgiving is over, my craving for peppermint kicks in. While pumpkin flavors are still enjoyable, nothing beats the delight of peppermint.
Every December, my kids and I indulge in peppermint bark. When I discovered this Oreo variation, I realized it would be a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 20 Starlight Mints or 10 small Candy Canes
- 12 Oreos
- 8 oz Chocolate Chips
- 8 oz White Chocolate Chips

The steps to create this treat are uncomplicated:
- Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor until they form larger pieces.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 45 seconds, stirring until smooth. Repeat as necessary.
- Spread the melted chocolate onto the prepared pan, smoothing it into an even layer.

- Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over the melted chocolate.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow it to set.
- Crush the mints in a food processor until finely crushed.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave for 45 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the cooled chocolate and Oreos, smoothing it out to cover completely.

- Sprinkle the crushed peppermint over the white chocolate layer.
