Strawberry Carrots
To add some fun to our Easter celebration, we like to make themed treats. These adorable strawberry carrots are simple to prepare and encourage the kids to eat fruit before diving into their Easter baskets. They also make a delightful contribution to any potluck!
Ingredients:
1 lb Strawberries
8 oz Orange Candy Melting Chips
Orange Sparkling Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
1. Gently fluff the strawberry stems upwards.
2. Freeze the strawberries for 10-15 minutes.
3. Melt the chocolate by microwaving it for 30 seconds, stirring in between until it’s completely smooth.
4. Use a sheet of wax or parchment paper big enough to hold all the strawberries.
5. With a spoon, spread melted chocolate around the top near the stem.
6. Either dip or spoon the chocolate over each strawberry while holding it by the stem.
7. Optionally sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
8. Place the coated strawberries on the paper.
9. Chill in the freezer to set the chocolate immediately.
- 1 lb Strawberries

- Lay a piece of wax or parchment paper big enough to hold the strawberries.
- Spread chocolate around the stem of each strawberry using a spoon.
- Dip or spoon chocolate over the berry while holding by the stem.
- Optionally, sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
- Place on the paper.
- Chill in the freezer to set the chocolate quickly.
