The Pink Lotus Foundation plays a crucial role in making free care available for low-income and underserved women. Each year, millions in funding are dedicated to seeking a cure for breast cancer, and the Pink Lotus Foundation actively supports these efforts. However, the timeline for a cure remains uncertain.
Countless women without insurance or adequate coverage face inadequate care, lengthy delays, and, tragically, loss of life due to breast cancer every day. It is shocking that women are dying simply because they cannot afford screenings. The Pink Lotus Foundation aims to prevent such outcomes by ensuring access to essential screenings and treatments for breast health.
Recently, the foundation’s founder, Andy Funk, undertook an extraordinary fundraising challenge. As an Ironman triathlete, he cycled 365 miles non-stop from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, crossing the harsh desert to raise money for uninsured and underprivileged women in need of support. Check out
